Gina Carano boyfriend Kevin Ross

Gina Carano and her new boyfriend Kevin Ross went public Thursday in announcing their relationship.

Ross announced the relationship on his Instagram page, saying he finally felt comfortable sharing the news after they kept it quiet for six months:

“I’ve been debating on whether or not to post this is as I hardly ever, ok never, post anything about my personal life but I just can’t keep it contained anymore,” Ross wrote. “We’ve kept things under wraps as to not want to invite the entire world into our relationship, although I think it’s been pretty evident that we are back together. So happy 6 month anniversary to my beautiful angel @ginajcarano For those of you that don’t know we dated for 4 years, were broken up for a decade then got back together on the 14th anniversary of the day we met. Awww I know, heart warming isn’t it Gina is not only the reason I’m even doing what I am but literally the reason that I’m even alive and walking around still. You are my inspiration, my best friend, my everything!!! OK, enough mushy stuff, you may now return to your regularly scheduled programing of face punching and blood #claimed”

The sweet announcement was made in a photo of the two kissing.

Ross, 35, is a kick boxer from Pennsylvania, and he is ranked No. 14 in the world by WBC in Muay Thai. He trains in Las Vegas, which is where Carano attended high school and college.

Ross and Carano dated several years ago as Ross mentioned on Instagram. He got her into kickboxing, which is how she got her start before going into MMA. Carano was 12-1-1 as a kickboxer before launching her successful MMA career, which saw her go 7-1.

Carano has not fought since 2009. Instead she has launched a very successful career in movies, which also led to her dating “Man of Steel” star Henry Cavill prior to her relationship with Ross.
